Shahrukh Khan said, “That’s the life of a star” on dropping off from the second spot to 13th spot on Forbes list of richest celebrities in 2018.
Shahrukh Khan has been promoting his movie Zero which is slated to release on December 21. On Thursday, Shahrukh left for Dubai to promote his movie and was vocal about not having made to the top 10 in Forbes list of richest Indian celebrities in 2018. Last year, however, Shahrukh was No. 2 on Forbes list of top richest Indian celebrities. This year, Shahrukh fell from the second spot to 13th spot in the list.
SRK spoke to Khaleej Times in Dubai and talked about his fall from grace. While SRK slipped from the list, his Twitter account was judged among the top 10 ‘Most talked about Indian Twitter Accounts’.
Shahrukh said in a humorous and unperturbed tone, “In the last three-four days I have found out that I have fallen out of a magazine’s list of rich people. I’ve become dearer on Twitter and poorer according to the (Forbes) survey. I just hope with this film (Zero) I become nearer! So dearer, poorer and nearer in one day! That’s the life of a star!”
Meanwhile, SRK addressed a strong crowd of one lakh people at Dubai’s Global Village as he promoted Zero.
Expressing his feelings, Shahrukh even shared a video captioned, “This much love for #Zero, only possible in Dubai. Thanks Global Village for the 100,000 hearts beating for Bauua, Aafia and Babita. Will convey ur #Issaqbaazi to them in India. Love u Dubaiwaalon yeh dekho Bauua ki selfie!”
Shahrukh captioned another video that he shared, “Aaj Dua Mein Gaana Sahi Baith Raha Hai. Sabka Pyaar Dekh Kar Laga, Sacchi Mein Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai.”

Shahrukh’s Zero is slated to hit the screens on December 21 where he would be seen portraying the role of a dwarf. The movie also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in lead roles.
