Denise Jonas reportedly gave her daughter in law Priyanka Chopra a very expensive piece of jewellery

After the star-studded Christian wedding, Priyanka Chopra married American singer Nick Jonas according to Indian customs yesterday. The Indian wedding took place at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan.  Priyanka looked quintessentially beautiful Indian bride in a red lehenga while Nick donned a traditional Indian sherwani.

If there is a wedding, there surely are going to be gifts pouring in from family, friends and well-wishers. Nick’s mother surely made it a point to gift something special to the newlywed Priyanka. She gifted her exquisite earrings from Van Cleef & Arpels worth over 50 lakh which she handpicked herself if the reports are to be believed.

The earrings reportedly weigh roughly around 6.7 karats and feature 170 stones embedded in them. As per Van Cleef & Arpel’s official website, the earrings are set in yellow gold with diamonds of exceptional quality, giving each petal a unique purity.
