Ayushmann Khurrana, the quintessential Bollywood actor known for offbeat roles, is all set to feature in another quirky role in Ekta Kapoor’s Dream Girl. Ayushmann has created a niche for himself for his offbeat roles which has worked quite amazing for the actor. He gave two back to back hits this year and is ready with his next one.
The movie is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who has earlier written the dialogues for Anees Bazmee’s Welcome Back, Sohail Khan’s Freaky Ali and Omung Kumar’s Bhoomi. He is also working on another project with Ekta Kapoor, which has Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles.
In the first look shared by the actor, Aayushmann is seen clad in a yellow saree with a pallu seated on a scooter with a dazed look on his face.

Few days back, Ayushmann announced this project in a rather unconventinal way with a funny video clip where he is seen trying to zero in on his next film but none of the script ideas seem to be able to impress him. On stumbling upon ‘Dream Girl’, he is seen elated to find his next project. Ayushmann captioned the video “Of every possible role, this one I’d be honest, would have never crossed my mind! But here I am, to play a role in and as Dream Girl,”

Ekta Kapoor also took to Twitter to announce her next project with Ayushmann with a tweet saying ” “You wouldn’t have thought of this even in your wildest ‘Dreams’. Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana in and as Dream Girl.”

As per Ekta, the filming has already begun. The release date of the movie is yet to be announced.
