Spykar Launches It’s in Our Genes Podcast Celebrating India’s Changemakers

India’s homegrown Denim brand Spykar has launched a new podcast series, It’s in Our Jeans/Genes, aimed at celebrating stories of ambition, identity and pride through conversations with changemakers across industries.

A New Platform for Storytelling

The series, which Spykar says aligns with its positioning around youth culture and self-expression, brings together entrepreneurs, artists and innovators who are blending heritage with modernity while shaping India’s narrative on the global stage.

Debut Episode with Suta Sisters

The debut episode features Sujata and Taniya, sisters and co-founders of clothing label Suta, known for reimagining the saree for younger generations while working with more than 17,000 artisans across India. In the episode, the duo discusses their journey of combining creativity with social impact and also takes part in a DIY styling experiment, pairing sarees with denim to reflect the theme of tradition meeting contemporary expression.

Blending Tradition with Modern Expression
