Renowned artist and designer Mahesh Sharma is presenting his latest solo exhibition, NAR + NARI, at Bikaner House. The show opened with a preview on September 12, 2025, and will be on public view from September 13 to 17 at the LTC Exhibition Hall, Gate No. 3, Pandara Road, New Delhi, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Themes of Balance and Duality
The show explores the eternal balance between masculine (Nar) and feminine (Nari) energies, drawing on the symbolic dichotomy of yin and yang as represented across Indian literature, art, craft and culture. Through paintings, sculptures, installations and aesthetic compositions, Sharma interprets themes of fertility, balance and the forces that sustain cosmic order.

Rooted in Indian traditions yet expressed with contemporary ease, Sharma’s distinct visual language has long been celebrated for bridging classical aesthetics with modern sensibilities. NAR + NARI continues this trajectory, inviting audiences to reflect on duality, identity and harmony.
A Dialogue Between Tradition and Modernity
A widely acclaimed artist and space designer, Sharma has consistently used his work as a medium of dialogue between tradition and contemporary thought. His latest exhibition is positioned as both a creative showcase and an immersive experience of reflection and transformation.

According to the official statement, this latest body of work is an embodiment of the visitors’ experience, an artistic dialogue between man and woman as envisioned through the artist’s distinctive lens. The exhibition offers not only a showcase of creativity but also a space for reflection on balance, identity, and harmony.
