Anne Hathaway made her way to the top designers’ ramp thanks to her movie The Devil Wears Prada. People — fashionistas and shopoholics — love to watch fashion-inspired movies for obvious reasons and such movies also gave a boost to business of fashion designers and gurus. Forget adults or college-goers, even kids and pets have a wardrobe full of branded and labelled clothes these days. Many fashion-inspired movies are being made and loved. Some of them which people loved watching were Aisha, Confession of Shopaholics, Legally Blonde, and many more.

1.Fashion (2008)

The movie revolves around a small town girl named Meghna, who aims to carve her name in the big Fashion industry as a Supermodel. As entering the ocean of fashion and glamour with big names of fashion designers to labels, soon she witnesses herself to be lost in the whirlpool of emotions, work, relations and morals. Climbing up and down the ladder of success, the fashion world is a rollercoaster ride for all.

2.Dostana (2010)

The fashionable highlight of the movie was Priyanka Chopra (Neha) working up her career in the Verve magazine. Trying to secure her position as the new Editor in chief of the magazine, she plays around tricks of the trade with help of her two flatmates, who enact as gay partners. A comedy flick and yet fashionable is one of the most interesting picks among Indian cinema.

3.Sex and the City (2008)

Candance Bunshell and her novel Sex and the City, is a major hit across the globe. The novel has been converted into not only movie but into a sitcom as well. Talking about fashion, Carrie Bradshaw (the protagonist, played by Sarah Jessica Parker) is a relationship and sex writer and has fetish for brands like Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton to name a few. Living her life in style, her three best friends walk into the world of fashion and brands and the movie displays a vast range of collection from handbags to shoes, to a closet full of sunshine!

4.Valentino: The Last Emperor (2008)

A tribute to the fashion designer Valentino, Matt Tyrnauer designs this subtle movie for the loyalties and fashionistas. The life of legendary Valentino and making of the man behind those expensive designs is beautifully engraved in the movie.

5.Funny Face (1957)

A fashion photographer accidentally lands up at a bookstore and discovers an impromptu face for his new shoot for a well-know fashion magazine. Audrey Hepburn and her innocent looks and simple ideologies leads the photographer to a new world of thoughts and imaginations while discovering the beauty of his model.
