Tara Sutaria is going to make her debut in Bollywood with Student Of The Year 2 and the countdown for the release of the movie has already started. The movie releases in a week’s time. Tara would be seen sharing screen space with debutant Ananya Pandey and actor Tiger Shroff.
In SOTY-2, Tara got a chance to shake a leg with Hollywood superstar Will Smith. Will Smith will be seen in a cameo in the song ‘Radha Tera Chunari’, which also features Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff.
According to Tara, she had a chance to work with the star even before she signed up for SOTY-2.
Tara said,
“I was actually supposed to do another film with Will Smith a year before we started Student of the Year 2 in London. I was working on this film Aladdin, which is, in fact, releasing a week after SOTY. So, I was meant to play Jasmine in that film. We would have worked together on that film and it is so ironic that I didn’t end up doing that film, but I am doing this and he actually came here and we ended up working on this.”
“I auditioned for Aladdin and I was supposed to play the character of Jasmine in that. I went to London and did a workshop with the director. They wanted to find the right boy as well because the chemistry was also important. But then, it did not work out.”
On being asked whether she felt that she missed out on an opportunity in Hollywood? She said,
“I have no regret because soon after I auditioned and signed Student Of The Year 2. Hopefully in future I will get some offer and then I can do both.”
Student of the Year 2 will hit the screens on May 10.
