Recipe : Crispy Semolina Sandwich (open sandwich)

‘Semolina’ is very easily found ingredient in every household. At times when i go blank in dinner ideas, this crispy open sandwich recipe comes to my mind immediately. I think you all should give a try for this recipe when you have less time in hand and you want to try something new,just go for it ! here is the recipe for Crispy Semolina Sandwich.


  • 4 bread slices

  • 1 cup small semolina

  • 2 tbsp curd

  • 1 finely chopped onion

  • 1 green chilli finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped Coriander leaves

  • Salt to taste

  • 4 tbsp oil

  • little water


Combine all the above ingredients rawa, curd, onion, chili, Coriander leaves and salt, mix together. It will become thick Uttapa batter. Divide the mixture in to 4 portions.
Spread one portion of the mixture on one slice of the bread.Roast the filled side first till it golden brown now roast the other side.Repeat the procedure with remaining slices and mixture.

Cooking time – 20 minutes

Serves – 4


– you should press the bread slice Using plane wooden spoon so that it will be turn golden brown and crispy.Serve it with lettuce to make it more interesting & healthy !
