Qubo, a smart devices brand from the Hero Group, has launched the Qubo InstaView, a video door phone system set to redefine home security. Featuring an enhanced version of their Video Doorbell, the InstaView comprises two key components: the Qubo Video Doorbell Pro and the Qubo Home Tab. The company says the Tab is designed as the new-age control center for modern homes.
Enhanced Video Doorbell Technology
The Qubo InstaView builds upon the success of the original Qubo Video Doorbell that enabled users to experience a smart and connected home where they could answer their door through a video call on their smartphone.
With InstaView, Qubo goes a step further with the video call from the doorbell delivered not just on a user’s phone but also on the Home Tab that can be placed anywhere inside the home or even outside the premises.
Qubo says the Video Doorbell Pro boasts significant upgrades, including a 3MP 2K resolution camera, a 2W echo-cancelling speaker, and enhanced connectivity options such as dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Ethernet PoE. These improvements ensure optimal performance across various housing types.
Versatile Home Control Center
For now, users can watch the video feed from their video doorbell on the Home Tab, talk to their visitors at the door, and even unlock the door (through a Qubo Smart Door Lock) for them. Furthermore, it can also double up as a sleek Digital Photo Frame, the company said.
Paired seamlessly with the Video Doorbell Pro, the Qubo Home Tab serves as a versatile control center with an 8-inch touchscreen display, wireless design, and 8GB of in-built storage. Users can expand their system with up to two additional Home Tabs for added convenience.
