The Veil Of Priyanka’s Wedding Gown Was Nearly 60 ft Longer Than That Of Meghan Markle’s. The Gown Was Designed By Ralph Lauren Who Has Designed Only 3 Wedding Dresses In The Last 50 Years.
In a fairytale wedding, Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas in Jodhpur after a seven-month relationship. They got married according to both Christian and Hindu customs in Jodhpur, Rajasthan in a lavish ceremony that lasted five days. The glossy pictures from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding have been trending on social media for days now. Yesterday, Priyanka took to Instagram and shared a dreamy video of her magnificent Ralph Lauren gown. She captioned the video “Once Upon a Fairytale,”.
Priyanka Chopra’s stunning wedding gown was designed by Ralph Lauren which according to Hello magazine, took 1,826 hours to make! It also had a 75-foot long tulle veil. The veil is said to be 60 ft longer than that of the gown that Meghan Markle wore in her wedding to Prince Harry. The gown was laced with beads and precious Swarovski crystals making it as dreamy as it gets.
As per Priyanka, she chose Ralph Lauren after learning that the designer had “only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years – one for his daughter, his daughter-in-law, and his niece.” She was blown away as per her interview given to People magazine.
Nick Jonas also wore a custom Ralph Lauren tuxedo featuring a piece of his bride’s dress fabric stitched into it along with a personalised message from her: “My Jaan” which means “My Life” in Urdu.
Nick also took to twitter sharing a video from the wedding with the caption; “This was truly magical”

Priyanka told Hello magazine that she loved that their wedding was a religious mash up. She further added, “We are taking beautiful traditions that we both grew up with and we are personalizing them in a way that makes sense for us.”.
She went on to say “It’s been incredible to find the commonalities between our beliefs and figuring out how to blend them in a respectful and meaningful way.”
