It was reported this October that Priyanka had invested in the dating and networking app and would also be an active advisor for the company. The bumble app gives women the power to make the first contact with the potential date and doesn’t allow men to make the first contact. It is also said to be providing additional safety features to women for regions in India known for violence against women. Along with the extra functionality to report bad behavior, the app would also let women disclose only their initials rather than first and last names.
