Arzoo Govitrikar- Naagin 2 actress and sister of Aditi Govitrikar, has filed a case of domestic violence against her husband Siddharth Sabharwal.
As per a report by Mumbai Mirror, the actress even went on to submit a video footage from CCTV cameras in her residence along with her complain. She informed the cops that she has been suffering physical and mental torture for quite a long time now.
According to the complaint filed by Arzoo on February 19, she has mentioned that she had an argument with her husband, Siddharth on February 15 over the latter’s drinking habit. Post which, he dragged her inside the bathroom around 4 a.m. in the night and hit her viciously. She even mentioned that her husband threatened to kill her entire family.
On March 6, at Worli police station, Aditi Govitrikar (Arzoo’s sister) along with her friend and actor Ashish Chaudhary accused Siddharth of forcibly keep the couple’s five-year-old son in his custody.
Arzoo’ husband, however, denied the allegations against him saying,
“It was she who asked me to slap her saying she was rehearsing for a crime show. I will respond to these allegations at the right forum.”
