Mojito Recipe From Real Girl’s Kitchen

Mojito is alcohol based drink contains mint leaves, sugar syrup, lemon juice and crushed ice. Non-alcoholic mojito is called a ‘virgin mojito’ and it comes in mocktail category. You can also try mojito in different fruit flavor add pomegranate juice, orange juice, crushed mint leaves, lemon juice, sugar syrup, plain soda and crushed ice.Screen Shot 2015-04-14 at 11.15.49 am


  1. Plain soda – 300 ml
  2. Mint leaves- 1/4 cup
  3. Lemon juice- 6 tbsp
  4. Sugar syrup- 4 tbsp
  5. Ice-cubes- 10Mint


  1. Prepare sugar syrup by heating 4 tbsp sugar in 1/2 cup of water. Let the sugar dissolve completely. Allow to simmer for a little less than half amount. Turn off flame and bring the sugar syrup to room temperature.
  2. Take a hand stone grinder, grind mint leaves roughly.
  3. Take a serving glass add crushed mint leaves, tbsp of sugar syrup and 2 tbsp lemon juice. Add ice cubes (use ice crusher if you have) fill half glass with crushed ice and half glass with plain soda water .
  4. Garnish with lemon slice and mint leave.Screen Shot 2015-04-14 at 11.16.27 am
