Shahid Kapoor is all set to feature in Kabir Singh which is a Hindi remake of the superhit telugu movie Arjun Reddy. He is paired opposite Kiara Advani in the same. The promo of the movie was released almost a month back and was received well by the audiences.
The trailer of the movie dropped a while back. It opens with Shahid Kapoor’s character, who is seen as a raging alcoholic and drug snorting chap, ready to fight with anyone who pisses him off. His anger management issues seem to be taking him to a path of self-destruction. In the flashback, we see Shahid’s character Kabir in a sober state who is madly and passionately in love with his girlfriend Preeti (the character played by Kiara). He, however, is shown as an overprotective boyfriend.

The movie is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde. It is slated for a June 21 release.
