For those who are suckers for horror flicks, here comes another one by James Wan, who is known for producing “The Nun”, “Insidious: The Last Key”, “The Conjuring 2” and so on. The trailer is undoubtedly gripping.
The movie will be released in India on April 19, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, read a statement by Warner Bros Pictures.
The movie, which was previously titled ‘The Curse of La Llorana’, is based on one of the most widespread horror stories shared within the Hispanic community.
According to lore, the Weeping Woman is an ghost of a day, caught between heaven and hell, who drowned her own children in a rage, throwing herself in the river after them. She creeps in the shadows and preys on the children as she is desperate to replace her own children with them.
