It has been over a month and the internet can’t stop obsessing over the opulent and grand wedding of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. It was only recently that jewelry designer Mrinalini Chandra shared the amazing details about the actress’s custom-made kalire. The designer shared a close up picture of the stunning kalire Priyanka wore for her wedding, with the caption, “God is in the details. The most incredible first time we could have asked for!”
She also told that this was the first time they retold a story through details in kalire design. Looking closer at the kalire, one can see significant design details such a symbol from Greece, where Nick proposed to her to Cupid, to a Cross and the Trishul from both their religions, engraved on separate elements of her kalire and an engraved silhouette of both of them. The kalire also had the character Mr. Chip Potts from the couple’s favorite character from The Beauty And The Beast. It is to be noted that Nick Jonas once played the character of Mr. Chip Potts in the Broadway production.
