Why should you watch Queen

After an impressive role in a not so impressive Rajjo and a mutant act as Kaya in Krrish 3, Kangana Ranaut is back with Queen, a film produced by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Vikas Bahl. The trailers look amazing and have already generated enough curiosity to watch this story about a 24 year old Panjabi girl Rani who decides to go ahead with her honeymoon all by herself after her wedding is cancelled by her fiancé.

Team WSL is in love with the way Rani comes across as someone who is really looking forward to her wedding and most importantly her honeymoon. If you still haven’t made up your plans to watch the first day first show of the movie when it releases on February 28, here’s why you should!

1. Produced by Anurag Kashyap, with Kangana playing as Rani, we have enough excuse to go for it. Kangana is known for playing unconventional roles with perfect conviction. The way she says ‘mera to itna life kharab ho gaya’ and ‘meri first night, parson hogi na shayad…’, there is no way you can miss this.
2. The story line looks promising. A girl who comes all the way to London from Rajouri alone for her honeymoon, meets new people, explores new places and discovers herself as well. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds eventually.
3. We love Kangana’s simple look and character. She is mostly seen sporting kurta over jeans or salwar kameez.  Her curiosity about sex yet shying away from it because of her upbringing in a very conservative family makes her look more real.
4. The music by Amit Trivedi. It is catchy and suits the mood. London Thumakda is already a huge hit.
5. Apart from Kangana, there is Rajkummar Rao too to look forward to. We have already loved him in Shahid and Kai Po Chhe. What needs to be seen is if he can floor us again with Queen.

Have you seen the trailer yet? Watch it here now and let us know what you think of it.
