Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had their first Mumbai reception in JW Mariott last night. While Priyanka looked terrific in a blue floor-length gown while Nick Jonas looked dapper in a handsome grey pantsuit.
This time, Priyanka took the opportunity to give a small speech in the front of the wedding guests, introducing her dear husband ‘Nick Jonas’.
Priyanka said, “I want my husband to meet all the people who have come to meet him. So thank you so much for being here. Friends of my parents, my mom who is hosting this wonderful evening and my dad who I know is here. Thank you so much for coming and giving us your blessings and I hope you have a wonderful time tonight. And this is my husband Nick Jonas.”
Taking the mike from Priyanka, Nick added, amid loud cheers, “This is my first show in India. Thank you all so much for coming here. It wasn’t too far from here that I took Madhu out for lunch so I could marry her daughter.”
He further said,” “And all of you have welcomed me with such open arms. So thank you for that. Tonight is about celebrating and spending some time together. My first introduction to all of you. So thank you again and thanks to Madhu for putting it up together and my beautiful wife. I couldn’t be happier being with you.”
The guests applauded and cheered the couple.
