Pulwama Terror Attack: Salman Khan Donates To The Families Of The Martyrs Through #BharatKeVeer fund

The whole country is in shock post the terror attack that killed the CRPF soldiers in Pulwama district on Thursday, February 14. While many people are offering their prayers and condolences to the families of the martyrs, some have come forward with monetary help to the families of those who gave their lives for their nation. Many celebrities have taken to social media to offer condolences to the families of the brave soldiers, who died for their country.

After the reports of Amitabh Bachchan donating 5 lakh each to the families of the late CRPF soldiers, actor Salman Khan and his foundation Being Human have also come forward and pledged an unspecified monetary donation.

Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Home Affairs, recently tweeted his appreciation for Salman Khan and shared on social media,

“Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan on offering to contribute for Pulwama Martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION. I’ll work out for handing over of the cheques in the account of #BharatKeVeer @BharatKeVeer.”

Salman Khan also expressed his sorrow in a social media post and offered his condolences to the families of the martyrs. He wrote,

“My heart goes out for the Jawans of our beloved country and their families who lost their lives as martyrs to save our families… #YouStandForIndia.” 

The BharatKeVeer website has been receiving massive donations for the cause from across the country. The massive traffic on the website also let to a temporary shutdown of the site. Meanwhile, actors like Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar have been urging people to donate.
