1. Antim: The Final Truth
The much-talked-about festival release starring Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma is here. The plot depicts Rahul’s rapid transition from a jobless youth to a feared gangster, as he is taken under the wing of Pune’s most powerful goon Nanya Bhai.
However, there is a snag. Inspector Rajveer Singh, who knows when and how to employ intellect and brawn to rid the city of all nefarious elements, from rapacious gangsters to power-hungry politicians and gun-wielding gundas. The film is adapted from a Marathi film, Mulshi Pattern.

2. Atrangi Re
Atrangi Re is directed by Aanand L. Rai and features Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman. The film depicts a complicated love triangle in which Vishnu, a Tamil lad, is compelled to marry Rinku, a Bihar girl. Rinku and Sajjad are long-lost lovers though. Rinku, who is in love with both Sajad and Vishnu, is shown in the trailer refusing to let go of either. The essence of the film is how ‘atrangi’ would end the story in the future.

3. Don’t Look Up
This science-fiction comedy starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, and Jonah Hill was one of the most anticipated English films this week. The film’s plot revolves around an astronomy graduate student and her professor, Dr. Randall Mindy, who go on a media tour and shortly herald the arrival of a planet-killing comet that will destroy everything.

6. Maanaadu
The story revolves around a hero who has the ability to turn back time. He won’t be going back in time. He is just given the opportunity to repeat the same day until he gets it correctly. As it happens, he becomes entangled in a plot to assassinate the State’s, Chief Minister. And he’ll be the one to blame as he’s a Muslim. In the background, a communal confrontation is also planned. All of their sinister plots must be thwarted by him. It’s an action-packed, adrenaline-pumping ride.

7. The Silent Sea
Set in the future, when desertification has resulted in a dearth of water and food in the world. Yoon-Jae works for the space agency as a soldier. Starring Gong Yoo and Bae Doo-na, this sci-fi drama was much anticipated.
