The Sunday’s famous episode Koffee with Karan hosted by Karan Johar that too with siblings Janhvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor was unconventional. Arjun talked about some emotional moments about his newly founded younger sister Janhvi. Also he talked about how he chose to reach out to her father’s daughters after their mom Sridevi’s sad demise.
Janhvi Kapoor was honored with the coffee hamper after won the rapid fire round. After this, the brother-sister duo was asked to call one of their family members, in their final gaming segment, and make them say “ Hey Karan whats up”.
Beautiful yet innocent Janhvi was winning the game as well, and hence dialed to her stepsister Anshula and told her several times to say ‘hey Karan what’s up’ so she could call it her win, Anushula failed to meet the expectation of sister Jahnvi and could not say the word. Also, Arjun was interrupting the call and was saying Anshula no to say so if she’s her real sister.
Arjun said he will not return back home if she says these words! This made Janhvi said, that she’s (Anshula) hurt her that day and she will remember this from now on.
On the Contrary as of the part of the show, he dialed his father Boney Kapoor and he was succeeded to make him said ‘hey Karan what’s up.’ This led Arjun to won the game.
However, this made Janhvi quote that ‘she is an unloved child of the family’.
Her visible crying face made the audiences connect with her emotionally and made our hearts rip. The emotional break-through of Jahnvi in the show revealed many things secretly kept layered and it was a dynamic show of the week.
Arjun Kapoor and Jahnvi Kapoor are the steps-siblings and their emotional bonding on the show, brought an all together different vibe in the show, which they might take it onscreen but somehow made it’s way through the show.
