Alia Bhatt is undoubtedly one of the finest actresses that Bollywood has seen and she has carved out a niche for herself by virtue of her hard work. Recently, it was confirmed that Alia had bagged a role in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. In an interview with PTI, the actress revealed how she bagged the role in the film.
Alia was quoted saying,
“I had bumped into Rajamouli sir at an airport and I begged him that whatever part he has (for me) I will do it. That time he had not cast for the girl yet.” She further added, “He said he was anyway talking about my timelines. So I told him whatever be the timelines, I will make it happen. We made it happen.”
Alia is also taking private tegulu classes for her role in RRR. She talked about the challenge of learning a language as tough as Telugu. She told Deccan Chronicle,
“It is a challenge, yes, I can’t deny that. Telugu is a tough language to learn. But it’s a very expressive language. I want to understand the nuances of the language, why certain words are pronounced the way they are, and what they convey. Only then will I be able to express my character’s feelings.”
Meanwhile, Alia’s Kalank has failed to woo the audiences and the competition from Avengers Endgame further resulted in the movie getting out of the Box Office race.
The actress would be next seen in Ayan Mukherjee’s Bhamhastra opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor. The movie, however, has been postponed for a summer 2020 release.
