Kapil Sharma’s show has again climbed the popularity ladder ever since it came back. The cast of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aise Laga including Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor recently graced the show. Rajkummar Rao was also present on the show (even though for a brief period). He spilled the beans from his meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Kapil asked Rajkumar in his witty way, whether there was any chatter about him, to which Rajkumar replied, “When I met PM, he got upset hearing your name. We hear that you tweeted something.”
Kapil Sharma was quick to make a public apology saying that it was an old matter and he was very sorry about it.
Navjot Singh Sidhu was quick to jump into the conversation, not leaving any chance to pull Kapil’s leg he said that this is what happens when you tweets post 12 at night.
Kapil, being Kapil, hit back saying, “You also had gone to Pakistan, right?”
It was this tweet of Kapil, which forced him to apologize on live television-
