As per the reports, Ayushmann Khurana has been roped in to play the lead in a cop drama by Anubhav Sinha. Anubhav’s movie is set in the backdrop of Uttar Pradesh. Ayushmann would start shooting for the movie once she is done with his current projects including ‘The Dream Girl’ by Ekta Kapoor.
As per Mumbai Mirror, the movie would be based on true incidents and would be socially relevant, being high on content. As per the report, the title of the movie is ‘Kanpur Dehaat’.
Last year proved to be an amazing one for Ayushmann on the professional front with two back to back hits – AndhaDhun and Badhai Ho. This year too, the actor already has 2 other projects in his kitty- Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Dream Girl’ and Dinesh Vijan’ Bala.
In ‘Dream Girl’, he would be featured as the ‘dream girl’. On the other hand, in Bala, he would be seen as a small town guy suffering from premature balding.
