Born to a family of doctors, Tuhina Goyal didn’t have it easy explaining to them that she wanted to foray into the world of jewellery which didn’t mean to get away from studies but to simply create new things – something she loved! She went on to study at the prestigious National Institute of Design and her love for jewellery made her foray into the world of accessories.
“The brand draws inspiration from everything beautiful that Indian Deisgn has to offer,” she says. Whether it’s a random trim on a roadside ‘thella’ or a piece of royal antique artwork, House of Tuhina draws inspiration from everything gorgeous.
When developing any product, the basic intention is to have very component handmade. They’ve taught numerous women across Delhi NCR various processes such as making hand moulded units in kiln to dying cotton yarn and then using hand weaving technique to create various designs to not just help them make employment, but also provide them with a sense of pride, financial independence and respect.
HOT (House Of Tuhina) has two major USPs – One is the fact that it can be worn by people of all age groups across various regions with different tastes. The second is the uniqueness of the products. House of Tuhina strives to create timeless pieces that will remain unique, even after 20 years.
The brand doesn’t have a “fixed target client.” Anyone who isn’t bound by precepts of fashion and understands arts and crafts is a potential client. The jewellery and accessories brand strives to retain the innate nature of each raw material used to conceive designs which are undisputedly authentic. They use the power of Indian design while also keeping global sensibilities in mind. They create products that seem effortless, yet exude elegance.
Each product is crafted from scratch by working with skilled craftsmen directly, and is also an honest effort towards providing clients with sheer and unique beauty.
The price range of HOT jewellery starts from INR 350 and goes until INR 8000.
