Kitchen technology startup upliance.ai on Wednesday announced the launch of Upliance 2.O, its next-generation smart cooking appliance aimed at making Indian and global cooking faster, healthier and easier. The device is powered by the company’s proprietary UpAI platform and comes with upgraded speed, higher temperature control and health-focused cooking modes.
Key Features: From Virtual Flame to Diet-Specific Modes
The company said Upliance 2.O is 40 percent faster than its predecessor and can heat up to 160 degrees C, enabling precise browning. It also introduces a glass lid with a virtual flame indicator for a more familiar cooking experience. Other new features include a built-in weighing scale with macro-tracking, diet-specific cooking modes such as low-oil, high-protein, high-fibre, kid-friendly and Jain, as well as improved motor control for chopping and stirring.
The device is supported by a library of more than 750 guided recipes, spanning Indian staples like dal, sabzi, rasam and biryani to international dishes such as pasta, risotto, hummus, and Thai curry. Recipes work offline once synced, and an AI-powered generator enables customised meal options.
“Every recipe has been developed and rigorously tested in-house by upliance.ai recipe team to ensure authentic taste and consistency. The device also allows smart customisation from high-protein to low-oil, kid-friendly, Jain, or high-fibre options giving health-conscious households meals tailored to their needs,” the company said.

Priced at Rs 39,999, Upliance 2.O is available on the company’s website with special offers for community members. According to the company, existing Upliance 1.O users will continue to receive updates, recipes and community challenges, along with access to an upgrade programme.
Safety and ease of use remain central to the product, according to the company. Most cooking takes place in a single jar with detachable lid and blade for quick cleaning, while the heat-resistant glass lid and food-grade certified accessories ensure suitability for everyday Indian kitchens.
