The Bakerie has unveiled its latest menu, “Ode to Classics,” which the bakery calls a creative celebration of Bombay’s rich food history with a modern twist. This new offering features a creative blend of traditional favourites and contemporary flavours, inviting diners to experience the city’s food heritage in a fresh light.
Highlights include the Masala Chai Tea Cake, Shrewsbury Cookie Sandwich, Paneer Koliwada Pie, and Gunpowder Cheese Straws. The menu also features Pav Bhaji Calzone, Irani Kheema Quiche, Salted Caramel Custard, Sukha Chicken Puff, Vada Pav Roll, and Butter Chicken Quiche.

The Ode to Classics menu include:
Masala Chai Tea Cake: A slice of this cake captures the essence of Bombay’s iconic chai, offering a comforting start to your meal.
1. Shrewsbury Cookie Sandwich: This treat features classic biscuits elevated with a delightful jammy filling.
2. Paneer Koliwada Pie: A flaky, buttery crust encases a reimagined version of Bombay’s favorite paneer snack.
3. Gunpowder Cheese Straws: These spicy straws provide a zesty kick, adding a touch of heat to your dining experience.
4. Pav Bhaji Calzone: A golden dough encasing Bombay’s famous veggie mash, blending familiar flavours in a new format.
5. Irani Kheema Quiche: A fresh take on spicy keema, inspired by the traditional offerings of Irani cafés.
6. Salted Caramel Custard: A modern twist on classic Bombay bakery delights, combining sweet and salty flavours.
7. Sukha Chicken Puff: This flaky pastry brings comforting, homely flavours to the forefront.
8. Vada Pav Roll: Bombay’s street food favourite is reinvented with special garlic chutney in a convenient roll.
9. Butter Chicken Quiche: A creamy quiche that honours Bombay’s rich culinary heritage in every bite.

When and Where to Experience the Menu
The new menu, available from August onwards, invites diners to embark on a nostalgic journey through Bombay’s beloved culinary traditions, reimagined with contemporary flair. From 9:30 am to 12 am daily, and until 1:30 am on Fridays and Saturdays, guests can savour a curated selection of dishes, The Bakerie said.
