Karnataka’s Sini Shetty was crowned Femina Miss India World 2022, Rajasthan’s Rubal Shekhawat was declared Femina Miss India 2022 1st Runner Up, Uttar Pradesh’s Shinata Chauhan was crowned Femina Miss India 2022 2nd Runner Up, while Andhra Pradesh’s Sailikhita Yalamanchili wins Times Miss Beauty With A Purpose title.
Femina Miss India 2022 took place at Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai on Sunday evening. The event was a star-studded affair as actors Kriti Sanon, Lauren Gottlieb, and Ash Chandler gave spectacular performances set against creative excellence and artistic mastery. Actor Manish Paul hosted the event.
For the very first time, Femina Miss India has awarded the beauty who with her dedication and efforts raised funds to help young lives. Sailikhita Yalamanchili of Andhra Pradesh became the highest contributor to the Ketto fundraiser by raising over seven lakhs for the Child Help Foundation (CHF), an NGO that operates across India by providing Emergency Medical Support Programs to maximum beneficiaries.
Aspirants from across the country battled for the national title and the selection process was conducted in two phases, virtually and on the ground. Femina Miss India 2022 mentor and former Miss India Neha Dhupia was felicitated at the event on the occasion of her 20th crowning anniversary.
The esteemed panel of judges for the evening included Femina Miss India 2022 mentor, actress, and former Miss India, Neha Dhupia; Actress, Malaika Arora; Singer, Choreographer, and Performing artist, Shiamak Davar; Actor, Dino Morea; Fashion Designers Rahul Khanna and Rohit Gandhi; and former Indian women’s team captain, Mithali Raj.
The evening concluded with the crowning ceremony. Manasa crowned her successor Sini Shetty as the winner of Femina Miss India World 2022. While Manika and Manya crowned Rubal Shekhawat and Shinata Chauhan respectively.
Sini Shetty hails from Karnataka and is currently pursuing a course in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She will now represent India at the prestigious 71st Miss World pageant.
