2) How, long back did you start and what made you take this entrepreneur jump?
I have always been into designing, Its some I really love and enjoy doing and the whole idea actually developed 8yrs ago along with my company Thought Blurb, which is a design and advertising firm.So my jewellery is just and extension to what I always loved doing. In fact, I love seeing fashion and how fashion designer plays with ideas to actually get them in a form that is appreciated by people, So that where I thought it would be a good medium for me to get art to jewellery.Screen Shot 2015-12-10 at 8.20.10 pm

3)Have you taken any course on fashion technology or any other related ones?
I completed my Graduation from Sophia Polytechnic, Art School,So Apart from that No, I haven’t taken any such courseScreen Shot 2015-12-09 at 6.40.57 pm

4)How/where do you produce your product from?is it in-house?
My Products are purely handmade , I use paint, wood ,thread, sequence , etc to made my jewellery, at the moment its more of wood and acrylic paint , because I started off with that, but I also plan to experiment more with the material I use and more over I am planning to experiment more with men’s jewellery
I have space in my office, Thought Blurb, wherein in I create my jewellery.

5) What were the challenges you faced when you started out and how did you overcome them?
When I started of 8yrs ago the biggest challenge for me was managing Thought Blurb and creating my jewellery at the same time, and then managing my child in the growing years was a little difficult, but then my love and dedicate for art helped me over come all my obstacles eventually

6) What are some of the toughest challenges you face today?
Today we are really small and right now I have a very small team as well so basically the challenge I face is the amount of time that takes to get one piece ready, and as it art all the minute details have to be finished till perfection. Making the prototype itself takes really long and the later part of it is another story completely.

7) The e-commerce space is flooded with new brands today. In such a scenario, how do u ensure to stand out and not get lost?
When it comes to jewellery everything is so similar, all that comes to one mind is that if it is jewellery it has to be made out of precious stones or material, What is do is completely breaking the stereotype, its like wearing a piece of art.

8) And finally, any advice for our readers who are looking to get into the jewellery industry?
You don’t really need to be from the field or take up multiple courses, if you have an idea and the dedication, you should just do it, the start is important the rest is up to your creativity and uniqueness and off course the hard work.
