How To Prevent Dry Skin At Home?

There are many home remedies to cure dry skin, and in this story we will look at a few of those.

Dry skin is a big problem these days as working girls as well as boys face it. It turns the skin into a cheerless soul. Dry skin is often associated with seasonal influences. Dryness can extend up to mucous membrane over the lips and results in cracking. Those who live in an Air-conditioned environment for a long time can also develop dry skin. There are many home remedies to cure dry skin, and we will look at a few of those.

1. Give Moisture to Your Skin

After having a bath, and while your skin has the water over it, apply the moisturizing cream or lotion. Thus the water layer over the skin will be preserved. Glycerine can also be used instead of a cream or lotion. It is better to have showers on lukewarm water, not hot water. Don’t forget to pamper your hands and face, along with crack prone lips and feet.

2. Choose a Moisturizing Soap

Soaps can make your skin dry. To avoid the situation, use a creamy moisturizing cleanser that contains glycerin or petrolatum.

3. Clarified Butter or Milk Cream

These are very good for cracked lips. Apply them over the lips for a week before going to bed.

4. Oil Massage

Studies say that an oil massage all over the body is perfect to counteract dry skin. Veg oils or fish oils (rich in omega-3 fatty acids) soothe super dry skin within a few weeks.
