And after the party, hopping back home and to family, the celebs took to Instagram to wish their fans on the auspicious eve of Diwali and giving a sneak peek of their homes, sharing the exclusive moments of Bollywood celebrating Diwali.

Keeping in mind the new regulations on the use of firecrackers, Bollywood’s A-listers chose to spread the light and warmth in different ways.
While the chic Bachchan clan kept the celebrations till family and stepped outside for some sparklers after the Lakshmi Puja, Karan Johar was spotted twinning with his toddler in coordinated Manish Malhotra kurtas. He later on winded up the night with Alia Bhatt and his fresh batch of ‘students’, the cast of Student of the year 2 – Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria. Alia Bhatt collaborated with a team of volunteers to feed over 500 dogs across seven cities. Couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were looking elegant in the traditional attires for a portrait together in their Mumbai home, similar to Kajol and Ajay who posted a picture together looking perfect together thus joining the A-listers of Bollywood celebrating Diwali.
Madhuri Dixit looking beautiful as she is, with her husband and son. Raveena Tandon partied with Shraddha Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja stuck to being simple this time and celebrated her first Diwali post marriage to designer Anand Ahuja. Manish Malhotra was spotted at partying scenes with Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Kareena Kapoor. Bride-to-be Priyanka Chopra also spent some time off with her family in Mumbai before her nuptials, Lisa Haydon slaying in her alluring lehenga against the glittering Hong Kong skyline.
Diya Mirza wished everyone looking lovely as always along with her husband. Second-time parents Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor snuggled up to make for a cosy picture on and Mira was later spotted bonding with her brother-in-law Ishaan Khatter. Sonali Bendre too shared the happiness and festive cheer with the family feeling blessed.
