He also dedicated his first Best Actor award to the late Irrfan Khan, who was the original candidate for the role. “This is my first best actor award, and I’d like to dedicate it to an actor whom I’ve liked and respected my entire life— the original pick to play Sardar Udham, late dear Irrfan Sahab,” Vicky remarked from the IIFA stage.
