Kolkata-based designer, Ajay Arya’s A Square Designs is one of the most sought-after among the city’s elite for its richly detailed, art-filled luxe interiors. A charming terrace space enclosed with glass allows the residents to celebrate the outdoors in style irrespective of the seasons.
Part of the Alipore apartment in Kolkata that Ajay has recently finished designing, the Glass House is a pretty place that connects the home with its green exteriors. The 350-sqft terrace space attached to the day room was covered with glass using an MS structure and aluminium windows. The place is perfect for lazy afternoon tea, or for a relaxed party time with friends and family under the starry sky. The rotating track lights allow the owners to create a beautiful ambience.
The Glass House is done up with patterned tile flooring that brings a refreshing Mediterranean vibe. Outdoor cane furniture in a neutral palette, accented with vibrant textured cushions adds to the delightful environment. A blooming Frangipani plant, hand-picked decor accessories and serve ware lend the perfect finishing touches to the conservatory-style outdoors space.
