Campus Activewear Launches Women’s Day Campaign Featuring Zeenat Aman

Sports and athleisure brand Campus Activewear has unveiled a new Women’s Day 2026 campaign featuring veteran actor and cultural icon Zeenat Aman, extending its ongoing “You Go Girl” initiative that celebrates women’s freedom to move and live on their own terms.

You Go Girl initiative

Conceptualised as a cinematic narrative, the campaign film moves beyond conventional ideas of success such as wealth, fame or nostalgia. Instead, it focuses on the power of choice as the driving force behind women’s journeys. Through a series of visual moments, Aman is seen stepping away from glamour and expectations, symbolising the freedom to move forward without seeking approval and to define success independently.

Zeenat Aman’s journey reflects women’s freedom to choose

The film positions Aman’s journey as a metaphor for women who continue to evolve, lead and inspire others. By navigating different spaces and rejecting external labels, the campaign highlights individuality, confidence and self-expression.

Prerna Agarwal, Chief Innovation Officer at Campus Activewear, said empowering women for the brand goes beyond a campaign or a single day of celebration. She noted that the company aims to create an environment where women feel confident and supported to pursue their ambitions. Agarwal added that Campus focuses on understanding women’s everyday needs and designing products that offer comfort, reliability and style while removing small barriers that affect daily life.

“When women are given the right support system, they do not just move ahead personally. They create momentum for everyone around them,” Agarwal said.

Speaking about the campaign, Zeenat Aman said she has spent a lifetime being told what she should look like or represent, but has always chosen to walk her own path. “I have spent a lifetime being told what I should look like, what I should wear, and what I should represent. And for a lifetime, I have walked my own way regardless. That is not rebellion that is simply knowing who you are. When Campus approached me with this campaign, I said yes immediately, because the message is not about me. It is about every woman who has been handed a label and decided to wear it as a badge of honour instead. You go girl — move your way.”

Brand focuses on empowering women

The brand says the campaign strengthens the “You Go Girl” initiative, encouraging women to embrace their choices with confidence and authenticity. With Aman leading the message, the brand emphasises that freedom is not something granted but something women claim for themselves.

Through the Women’s Day initiative, Campus Activewear encourages women to move freely, move forward and ultimately move their own way.
