On Monday, the Vivo Y21A was officially released in India. The new Vivo phone has two back cameras and a water drop-style notch on the display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and supports 18W rapid charging. Overall, the Vivo Y21A differs little from the Vivo Y21e, which was released earlier this month in the nation. As a notable difference from the new phone, the old model uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. The lone 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option of the Vivo Y21A is priced at Rs. 13,990 in India. The phone is available in two colours: Diamond Glow and Midnight Blue.

2. The launch of the Micromax In Note 2 in India is scheduled for January 25

The launch date for the Micromax In Note 2 in India has been planned for January 25, according to the company’s Twitter and Flipkart accounts. The phone is a follow-up to the Micromax In Note 1, which was released in November of 2020. The Micromax In Note 2 is said to have an AMOLED display, rapid charging technology, and a fingerprint sensor on the side. The phone will have 30W fast charging capabilities, be powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC with liquid cooling technology, and have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, according to the firm. There will also be a fingerprint sensor on the phone’s side. Original Price: ₹13,490, offer price of ₹12,490 (till stocks last ) and sale starts at 12 PM, 30th January on Flipkart.

3. Tecno Pova Neo with a 6,000mAh battery and dual selfie flash launched in India

On Thursday, the Tecno Pova Neo was released in India. The new Tecno phone is geared at teenage smartphone customers and comes with a 6,000mAh battery and dual selfie flash. The Tecno Pova Neo includes two back cameras and a water drop-style display notch. The smartphone also has 5GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded. The lone 6GB + 128GB storage model of the Tecno Pova Neo is priced at Rs. 12,999. The phone will be available in three colours: Geek Blue, Obsidian Black, and Power Black.

4. Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is now available in India

In India, Microsoft has released the Surface Pro 8 and Surface Pro 7+. As a replacement to Microsoft’s previous Surface Pro 7 product, the Surface Pro 8 was announced in September 2021 at the company’s hardware-focused event, with the firm claiming that it provides double the performance of its predecessor. The Surface Pro 8 is Microsoft’s most powerful Intel Evo certified Pro tablet to date, with 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs and Windows 11, with a claimed battery life of up to 16 hours. The Wi-Fi-only variant of the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 costs Rs. 1,04,499, while the LTE model costs Rs. 1,27,599.

5. The Realme 9i will be available on January 22nd, ahead of its first release

The Realme 9i went on sale early on Saturday, January 22nd, ahead of the formal launch on January 25th. The Realme 9i is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and a triple camera system on the back. The phone has a 6.6-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging capabilities. The Realme 9i costs Rs. 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB storage option and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage version in India. The smartphone will be available in two colours: Prism Black and Prism Blue.

6. The Tecno Pop 5 Pro has been launched in India with a 6,000mAh battery and a 6.52-inch display

On Wednesday, the Tecno Pop 5 Pro was released in India. The smartphone has a water drop-style notch and a 6.52-inch HD+ display. A 6,000mAh battery powers the Tecno Pop 5 Pro, which also has an 8-megapixel dual back camera. The phone supports 14 regional languages, has an IPX2 splash-resistant rating, and runs on Android 11 Go edition with the company’s HiOS layer on top. 7. Panasonic Lumix BS1H Full-Frame Box-Style Camera With 24.2-Megapixel Sensor Debuts

On Thursday, Panasonic unveiled the Lumix BS1H full-frame digital single-lens mirrorless camera in India. Panasonic claims that their latest digital camera, the Panasonic Lumix S1H, provides cinema-quality video capabilities in an easy-to-deploy box-style shape. The camera has a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor with Dual Native ISO, allowing it to make films at a resolution of up to 6K. According to the manufacturer, the camera may be used to capture footage for cinema/documentary, live streaming, FPV drones, and multi-camera setups. The Panasonic Lumix BS1H is priced at Rs. 3,39,990 in India.

Next week, the Noise ColorFit Icon Buzz smartwatch will be available in India. The pricing and certain important specs of the future smartwatch are teased on a microsite on the official website. The Noise ColorFit wristwatch will support Google Assistant and Siri, as well as Bluetooth calling. A 1.69-inch LCD will be featured on the Noise ColorFit Icon Buzz. The first smartwatch from the iconic athletic goods company, Reebok ActiveFit 1.0, is now available in India. A 1.3-inch touchscreen display, as well as a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) meter and a heart-rate sensor, are included in the new wearable. With an IP67 rating, the Reebok ActiveFit 1.0 is dust and water-resistant and provides more than 15 sports modes. It has a rectangular dial with a 1.5-inch HD display. The Fire-Boltt Ninja 2 Max smartwatch also contains a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor to measure heart rate and 20 sports modes. It also monitors the user’s blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and sleeps patterns. It is reported to last up to seven days on a full charge. For an initial price of Rs. 1,899, the new Fire-Boltt Ninja 2 Max is available for purchase. The Fire-Boltt smartwatch comes in three colours: black, dark green, and rose gold.

The Walmart-owned firm stated on Monday that Flipkart, India’s native e-commerce platform, has expanded its Grocery operations to now serve consumers in Tier 2 and Tier 3+ cities such as Ajmer, Amritsar, Bhuj, Bokaro, Daman & Diu, Dehradun, Kanyakumari, and others. Flipkart Grocery is now accessible in 23 states throughout the nation, with 1,800 cities and 10,000 PINs to choose from. Consumers in these cities will now be able to shop for food from a range of over 6,000 items, according to the business. the centres that have helped to enhance local employment by creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs. Furthermore, by providing local farmers with a platform to participate in the digital economy, this growth is likely to benefit them.

2. Netflix India announces the Take Ten competition to find next-generation storytellers and offers a $10,000 prize

Take Ten, a short film workshop and competition was launched by Netflix India on Monday to discover and support budding filmmakers from all backgrounds in India. According to a release, ten filmmakers will be given the exciting chance to attend seminars led by the greatest in the creative business before making a fully-funded short film with a $10,000 (approximately Rs. 7.4 lakh) award. The films will be available on Netflix’s YouTube service in India. The Netflix Fund for Creative Equity, which has committed $100 million (approximately Rs. 745 crores) over five years to help the next generation of storytellers from underrepresented areas, is sponsoring Take Ten. Applicants must be Indian citizens or residents and over the age of 18 to apply to Take Ten. On February 7, 2022, registration will open.
