Raw Mango introduced new sari collection recently in Mumbai. We happened to see their designs and they are just fabulous. These designs dipict an exciting, busy, chaotic and overwhelming life of Mumbai and the more pristine, peaceful, and predictable life of Maheshwar, in the heart of Madhya Pradesh.
The designs display a commitment to explore and innovate the traditional Mashru and Brocade weaving techniques of Varanasi. The silhouettes are brought to life with the newly explored technique creating geometric designs incorporating peculiar method of Mashru weaving for saris. The exquisite, intricate and rich Varanasi Brocade saris have been woven using metallic and silk threads creating splendid raised ornamentation.
