Quick Mango Raita Recipe for Summer Days

As temperatures rise, nothing beats a refreshing and flavourful side dish like Mango Raita. Raita is great all year round and not just for a particular season. Ingredients in raita, such as yogurt, help cool down your stomach and provide calcium and vitamin D. Mango raita is one of my favourite side dishes to relish. It’s easy to make, quick, and has a pungent taste.

Mango Raita Ingredients

  • 2 cups chilled curd
  • 2 medium-sized mangoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • Some chopped mangoes for garnish
  • Half a tablespoon of sugar
  • A small pinch of roasted cumin powder

Mango Raita Method

  1. Add sugar to the curd and beat until smooth.
  2. Add mangoes, cardamom powder, and saffron.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Serve topped with some chopped mangoes, cumin powder, and a sprinkle of saffron.
  5. You can also chill the raita before serving.

Note: Consume within three hours.
