On the occasion of the ongoing Pride month, Lilac Insights’ inclusive mental health platform AtEase continues to highlight its essential core value – inclusivity through the launch of Queernama, a mental health workshop for Queer individuals.
Queer individuals experience a wide range of unique and overlapping challenges that puts them at a greater risk of developing mental health conditions. Richa Vashista, Chief Mental Health Expert, AtEase said, “International Pride Month has always been a protest to fight for our rights as LGBTQIA+ individuals. It is also a month for queer individuals to acknowledge how much progress has been made. This Pride Month, AtEase is holding space for mental health-related conversations for queer people.”
AtEase provides personalized offers and packages to ensure that individuals across communities and populations receive the support they need on their mental health journey. The support uses social science, social justice, and evidence-based queer affirmative approaches to help tackle issues grappling with the individuals.
These issues include anxiety, burnout, depression and other mental health-related issues experienced by women and non-binary individuals. The experts associated with the platform have been designated based on their professional experience of working in the LGBTQIA+ and women’s mental health space.
