If you live in Mumbai, I am sure you might have been to these places already. Food is always one of the most important factors to draw you towards a city to travel. Today we shall be talking about some of the most exotic food destination in Mumbai you gotta try no matter what.

The term “Exotic” here simply means the yummiest, mouth-watering, tempting, and it doesn’t mean it’s expensive. It’s just food you should try at any cost need to eat when in Mumbai.

Top five food spots are as below:

Hearsch Bakery

The “sasta and tikao” bakery located in Bandra (West) makes your mouth watery with delicious Burgers, fresh beverages, biryani, and some good old granny’s baked items. 2 people can easy make their hungry tummy’s full with Rs. 200/- in their pockets.

Kyani & Co

This is another food place where you can eat your heart out with lovely eggs, bun maska, chai. One of the few places in Mumbai that still have a nice old school Parsi feel to it. Wooden chairs, Tables and huge antic watch hanging on the wall that chimes every hour. A must try for another cheap food hangout located in Marine Lines.

Pishu’s

Not a very cheap place money wise, but this is a place for all the fresh fruit, and healthy food fanatics. Located in Andheri (West), Lokhandwala, Pishu’s has a wide range of food options like pizza, pasta, sandwiches, fruit juice, milkshakes, desserts, smoothies etc. Sink into the fresh juicy juices with no added water and enjoy.

Vrindavan

Being a south Indian myself I love those restaurants that give you a feel of a proper “UDIPI” hotel and have all the main breakfast items and even the “Kapi” that is mainly found only in the south. I would suggest you try the Medu Vada, Butter Idli and coffee to go along with it. This one will serve in max 5 minutes no matter what you order. While travelling you can count on Vrindavan to serve you in minutes so that you can hop on to your next destination ASAP.

The Pantry

A beautiful café in the secluded kala ghoda makes you want to hug the place. Beautiful whites make you wonder if you’re really in Mumbai or a prettier, cleaner city. It’s again not on the cheap side. If you do think of visiting this place remember to have your credit card handy cause once you start eating you wouldn’t wanna stop.

I love each of these places and highly recommend it to people who love and adore food as much as I do. A book, smartphone, some water and you should be okay in Mumbai. Do let us know about your top 5 food destinations.
