Everything You Missed At Lakme Fashion Week 2016: Day 1, Day 2 & Day 3

The 2016 edition of Lakme Fashion week winter/festive has achieved a great response. A number of newbie but promising fashion designers displayed their collection with the masters in the business – Tarun Tahiliani and Manish Malhotra.

Here we present to you a quick round up for all of those who missed it catching live –

Tarun Tahiliani collection was inspired by the renowned artist Mrinalini Mukherjee’s work. True to it’s work the collection had lots of solid earth colours with vibrant textures and fabrics. And then came the gorgeous showstopper none other than Kangana Ranaut.3 (1)

Then came the collection by one of the most loved fashion designer of bollywood – Manish Malhotra. The maestro’s work was overshadowed with bold floral prints with amazing royal silk fabrics and ornamental finishes.5 4 (1)

And then came the gorgeous showstopper duo – Shardha Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.


Monochromes ruled Atsu’s collection. With a hint of bright colours and sharp cuts the collection looked ultra sexy.


Pastels with free flowing style was Wendell Roderick’s pick. It looked such a wearable collection by all of us.


Rajesh Pratap Singh rocked the Day 3 of LFW winter edition. His minimalistic fashion style rocked the runaway. And with a gorgeous showstopper like Jacqueline Fernandez you are set to set a standard.


Rimizim Dadu came up with the gen next fashion which depicted clothes in a metallic pattern.


Gaurang stunned everyone with rich Indian traditional clothing. Banarasis and bandhinis rocked the runaway and the models looked extremely glamorous in this dresses.


Payal Singhal choose dreamy flowy patterns with rounded skirts and embezzled blouses. Black and white combo was one of the trends which overpowered the collection.
