Like shoes? This announcement is for you then! Adidas, the world’s largest sportswear company, has released three new versions of its fastest running shoe, the Adizero. The new technologically advanced models ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2, ADIZERO BOSTON 10, and ADIZERO PRIME X are specifically designed for distance runners. The new variants are led by the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2, the latest iteration of Adidas’ record-breaking elite performance shoe. All these shoes are available at shop.adidas.co.in.
The Adizero collection was created with the help of insights and data from some of the world’s fastest athletes. Mechanical, bio-mechanical, and physiological data from leading endurance athletes were collected during training camps in Kenya to inform the present and future of Adidas racing shoes.
Some of the world’s fastest athletes such as Peres Jepchirchir, Joyciline Jepkosgei, Rhonex Kproto, Kibiwott Kandie, Stephan Kiprop, Philemon Kiplimo, Amos Kipruto, Bernard Kimeli, Abel Kipchumba, Bethwell Yegon and Bravin Kiptoo are expected to wear the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2 this summer.
ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2:
A re-sculpted LIGHT STRIKE PRO midsole with two layers – a revamped construction to support energy return. The signature carbon-infused ENERGYRODS, which are now visible within the newly sculpted midsole, provide lightweight stiffness and are designed for a more anatomically driven transition, limiting energy loss. These cost Rs. 21,999 only.
The redesigned midsole works in tandem with the CELERMESH 2.0 upper, which is made up of partially recycled polyester. A CONTINENTALTM RUBBER OUTSOLE has also been added to the toe tip to create a traction zone to support faster acceleration, and a new lightweight heel construction keeps the foot tightly locked in through anti-slip lockdown while softening the heel structure to help increase comfort.
ADIZERO BOSTON 10:
The shoe features the same LIGHT STRIKE PRO as the Adizero heritage and design evolution. Combined with a long-lasting LIGHT STRIKE EVA midsole foam, ENERGYRODS, a soft upper construction, and a CONTINENTALTM RUBBER OUTSOLE, this shoe provides a durable lightweight ride for everyday long-distance training runs. ADIZERO PRIME X:
Adding to the collection, the ADIZERO PRIME X is a ground-breaking conceptual long-distance running shoe. Designed to amplify key features of the ADIZERO ADIOS PRO 2 while also exploring and pushing the technology’s limits. Stiffening blades that spring back have been added to the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO midsole and ENERGYROD technology. These cost Rs. 24,999 only.
