FUJIFILM India has announced actress Rashmika Mandanna as its brand ambassador for its Imaging Solutions portfolio, covering Electronic Imaging, instax and Photo Imaging businesses across the country.
Association Targets New Generation of Photography Enthusiasts
The association is aimed at strengthening the company’s connect with younger consumers while promoting photography as a medium to capture, create and preserve memorable moments. According to the brand, Rashmika, one of the most recognisable faces in Indian cinema, is seen as a natural fit for the brand owing to her popularity, expressive personality and strong connect with audiences across generations.
Rashmika is also an instax user and said her association with Fujifilm felt natural given her personal appreciation for photographs.
From Digital Cameras to instax, Fujifilm Expands Imaging Ecosystem
FUJIFILM India’s Imaging Solutions portfolio includes digital cameras for enthusiasts and professionals, instax instant cameras and smartphone printers, QuickSnap cameras, binoculars and photo-printing solutions. The company said the portfolio is designed to cater to consumers at different stages of their photography journey, as the medium increasingly evolves as a form of creative expression.
Actress and Brand Ambassador, Rashmika Mandanna, said, “Photographs have always been special to me because they let us hold on to moments and feelings long after they have passed. I love capturing the little things, whether it is a spontaneous moment, time spent with people I love, or simply something I want to remember. As an instax user myself, I have always enjoyed the feeling of seeing a photograph come alive in my hands and being able to share it with someone. That is what makes my association with FUJIFILM India feel so natural, and I am excited to be part of its journey in bringing the joy of photography to many more people across India.”
Partnership to Drive Consumer Engagement Across India
FUJIFILM India Managing Director Koji Wada said Rashmika’s warmth, positivity and ability to connect with audiences across the country align with the company’s purpose of “Giving our world more smiles”.
He added that “Photography has always been an important part of how people celebrate and remember the moments in their lives. Through this association, we hope to inspire a new generation to discover the joy of photography while continuing to strengthen the connection Fujifilm has built with consumers in India over the years.”
Arun Babu, Associate Director, Imaging Solutions Division, FUJIFILM India, said “Our imaging portfolio goes beyond cameras and photography. From instax and digital cameras to QuickSnap, printing solutions, and binoculars, there is a diverse world of imaging experiences bringing the “click to print” journey together across our ecosystem. With Rashmika’s strong popularity across India and audiences across generations, this association is particularly meaningful for us. Through this partnership, we not only aim to inspire people to explore photography, but also discover new ways to create and express themselves.”
The company plans to leverage the association to expand awareness and engagement around its Imaging Solutions portfolio, particularly among younger audiences. The partnership also builds on Fujifilm’s consumer initiatives, including the Fujifilm Spectrum tour, X-Space and the House of Photography in Mumbai, which aim to provide consumers with opportunities to explore and engage with the company’s broader imaging ecosystem.
