Homemade face pack
Prepare a mixed fruit mask made with pulp of papaya, grated apple, pineapple and watermelon. Leave it for 30 minutes and rinse. Another option is mix two teaspoons of oatmeal, orange juice, curd and honey. Apply evenly on your face and wash it off. You can also prepare a mask by mixing papaya and cucumber.
Rub grated tomato on your face and wash it off after 30 minutes. It rejuvenate the skin and it looks fresh and hydrated.
Scrub twice a week using sugar and honey. Apply it on your face arms and legs, leave it for half an hour and wash it off. This gets rid of the dead skin.
Water has always acted as an all-rounder. Water hydrates the skin, flushes toxins and smoothes away the fine lines.
Cold rose water
Store rose water in fridge and apply with cotton pads. Rose water is a natural skin toner and it makes the skin look fresh and alive.
Avoid oily foundations and heavy moisturising creams
These products tend to block the pores thereby causing pimples. Keep the skin clean and use an astringent that will keep the pores of the skin closed, which helps in maintaining the pH balance.

Avoid smoking and alcohol
Consuming alcohol and smoking dehydrate the skin, making it look dull during the monsoons. In fact, it’s better to stay away from smoking and drinking throughout the year. It does a lot of good to your skin.
