Prada has introduced a new set of LINE stamps called “PRADA and Sea Creatures Stamps,” available from July 9th to August 5th. Released to coincide with Marine Day on July 15th, these stamps spotlight endangered marine species to raise awareness about marine conservation. The collection includes 16 unique stamps, which can be downloaded for free by adding Prada’s official LINE account as a friend.
Focus of Prada’s Re-Nylon Collection
The stamps showcase various sea creatures, including finless porpoises and sea otters, reflecting the Prada Re-Nylon collection’s focus on marine life. This collection, featuring clothing and bags, is crafted entirely from recycled nylon. This eco-friendly material is produced by reusing and purifying plastics, fishing nets, landfill waste, and textile waste collected from oceans worldwide.
The SEA BEYOND Project
In 2019, the Prada Group launched the “SEA BEYOND” project in collaboration with the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO. This initiative aims to enhance awareness of sustainability and marine conservation through international educational modules for junior and senior high school students and training activities on marine literacy. To further support this partnership, Prada has been donating 1 percent of the sales revenue from the Prada Re-Nylon Collection to the SEA BEYOND project since July last year.
