Raw Papaya Stuffed Paratha
Pair this hot paratha with fresh yoghurt and pickle or any choice of your chutney. A perfect recipe for the occasion like get-togethers, kitty patties, potlucks or picnic.

For the Dough 1 cup Whole wheat flour 2 tbsp Besan flour 1 tbsp Oil Salt to taste Water as required For the Stuffing 1 cup Grated raw papaya 1 tbsp Chopped green coriander 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds powder 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1/4 tbsp Black pepper powder 1 tbsp oil Chopped green chillies as required Salt to taste Pinch of Sugar
Preparation For the Dough Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well and knead into a loose-soft dough using enough water.
Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
Preparation For the Stuffing Peel and wash the papaya, cut into slices and take out the seeds, peel off the skin and wash it again.
Grate the papaya pices in a plate.
For the Stuffing Heat up non-stick pan or kadai add tbsp of oil.
Add grated raw papaya and other stuffing ingredients.
Stir continuously till mixture becomes soft.
Keep it aside to cool down.
For the Paratha Divide the dough into 5 equal portion.
Divide the stuffing material into 5 equal portion.
Roll a portion of the dough into a 5" diameter circle using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
Place a portion of stuffing in the center of the circle.
Bring together all the sides in the center and seal tightly.
Roll again into a circle using a little wheat flour.
Heat a non-stick tawa and cook paratha until golden brown spots appear on both the sides.
Apply oil on both the sides.
