Scared of wearing backless blouse or a sexy backless dress? Yoga is the only key to get a fatless sexy back. Here are some postures that can help you get a healthy and sexy back.

The fixed firm pose

This is known as supta vajrasana.

  1. Sit with your knees folded and your butt on your ankles.
  2. Slowly remove your ankles from under your butt but see that remain pointed backwards rather than sideways.
  3. Gradually lean back on both elbows.
  4. Lie down with shoulders only touching the ground.
  5. Touch your soles with your palm.
  6. Keep your breathing slow steady and remain in this position for about 30 seconds.

Benefits:

Burn fat at hips and butt. It improves the flexibility of the lower spine, joints and knees and hips.

The bridge pose

This is known as the setu bandhasana.

  1. Lie down on your back and hold your legs at the knees.
  2. Using both hands hold the ankles and tuck in your knees.
  3. With both hands holding the ankles raise the middle part of the body while your shoulders remaining still in contact with the ground.

Benefits:

It strengthens the hamstrings, buttocks and the back. Stretches the spine, hips, chest and the neck.

Backward bend

This is known as ushthasana.

  1. Get down to a sitting position with your legs tucked in beneath you.
  2. Raise your body on your knees.
  3. Swing the left arm in a circular way to hold the left ankle.
  4. Keeping hold on the left ankle do the same with the right arm.
  5. Try to bend your hips forward.
  6. Stay in this position for about 20 seconds.

Benefits:

Reduces fat at the hips and the thighs. Improves posture.
