To commemorate the establishment of WHO, the First World Health Assembly called for the establishment of a World Health Day in 1948. Every year on April 7th, World Health Day has been observed with a different topic since 1950.

There is a theme for the celebration of Health Day in 2022, which falls on the 7th of April. ‘Our Planet, Our Health‘ will be the theme for this year’s celebration.
