Want to look young, this is how you should go about it!

Ageing is an inevitable process, but did you know postponing the process is in your hands! And it’s no big deal, really. All you have to do is live a disciplined life and throw some evils out of your life. Here’s how

Avoid smoking

Agree, it’s a personal choice. But should you smoke? Is it helping you in any way? Not really. Cigarette smoke is damaging your skin as it gradually depletes vitamin C from your skin and makes it look dull and dry. This way you will end up getting wrinkles at an early age.

Avoid alcohol

In addition to giving up smoking, you should also stay away from heavy drinking. The small blood vessels under your skin dilate due to excessive consumption of alcohol, which increases blood flow. Continuous dilation damages blood vessels and ultimately it shows on your skin.

Avoid sun exposure

Exposure to sun rays damages skin. Due to over-exposure, skin becomes susceptible to mottles and freckles. The wrinkles show fast and skin sags. It is essential to use a good sunscreen lotion before going out in the sun.

Regular exercise

Nothing stops you from eating, so what stops you from exercising? Take some time out and exercise. This will tone your muscles and improve blood flow. Healthy you will make you feel younger.

Avoid cold temperatures

Too much exposure to air conditioners also damages skin. It gets dry and looks prematurely aged. It is advisable to use moisturiser even when you are indoors.

Lack of sleep

Lack of proper sleep results in sagging skin and dark circles. It sometimes also leads to depression, negative thinking and lack of interest in daily activities. Be stress-free and sleep properly.

Proper diet

Include leafy vegetables, fruits and nuts in your diet. Avoid having red meat, switch to fish, chicken and white meat (pork or poultry) instead. Greasy and spicy foods should be avoided to help the digestive system function well.

So, what you waiting for? Inch towards being health now!
