[Video] Diana Penty Wants To Raid Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Kate Moss’s Wardrobe

Diana Penty flaunts her sci-fi geek look on the cover of Juice Magazine. Jabong – fashion e-tailer, has launched the June issue of its monthly style guide. Cover star Diana Penty, model and actress, rocks edgy, futuristic style in a pinstriped jacket and sequined top from TOPSHOP, Missguided culottes and River Island shoes, available exclusively on Jabong.

The Juice got the sci-fi geek and soft-spoken actress to talk about life, the universe, and even aliens. In a freewheeling interview, she talks about being bullied for her name, her love affair with Mumbai, being a shy girl and growing up a nerd. Leading fashion photographer Suresh Natarajan captures her as a warrior from the chrome-and-steel androgynous world of tomorrow.

Three words to describe living in Mumbai.
Fun. Expensive. Hectic

If not Mumbai, where would you want to live?
I love New York. The vibe is very similar to Mumbai.

Your obsession?
All things space and extra-terrestrial. I don’t believe that we’re the only species in this big universe. I keep watching documentaries and reading about it. I can talk about them the whole day. I wish someone would find proof, either way.

To woo you, a man must…
Make good conversation.

If you could moonlight in another profession, what would you pick?
I recently did up my home and I’ve discovered that I’ve a talent for it. Every morning, I look up Pinterest for ideas. I enjoy it, so it’s something I could possibly do. When I was a kid, I was obsessed with all things space and I wanted to become astro-scientist.

What was your last splurge?
A Chanel bag.

Your biggest fashion faux pas?
I think I dress very safe. I can’t remember any, though I’m sure I’ve made some.

If you could, whose wardrobe would you want to raid?
Kangana Ranaut, Anushka Sharma, Kate Moss. I also like how Sonam Kapoor dresses, though she is a lot more fashion-forward and on trend.

Have you ever been picked on because of your last name?
Oh ya! All the time, though it’s a lot less now. In school, it was quite terrible.
Three things that are always in your bag?
Sunglasses, lip balm and phone.

If your life was a song, what would you want the title to be?
Happy.

What do you think?
