Top 5 Summer Makeup Looks by our Experts

Summer is the time when we are scared to put any makeup on our face. We don’t want our face to look sticky and messy along with the increasing heat outside. But as you all know girls can’t do without makeup. So here we met up with an expert and asked them what are the best ways look fresh and happy in summer. Check out some ideas!

[highlight highlightColor=”highlight-red” ]Fresh and Minimal Summer Face:[/highlight]

Step 1: Get flawless skin by applying a good coverage foundation and hiding blemishes and under eyes. Apply powder to set.
Step 2: Lightly fill and groom eyebrows. Apply a wash of a skin coloured eyeshadow all over the eyelid.
Step 3: Using a black liquid or gel liner, draw a line close to the lash line that starts thin and goes thicker as it goes outwards.
Step 4: Apply 2-3 coats of mascara and a set of demi lashes if needed.
Step 5: Get away with some contouring on the cheeks if you’re not blessed with a good bone structure.
Step 6: Apply a peachy nude, lustrous lipstick.

Natasha & Virginia[highlight highlightColor=”highlight-teal” ]Retro Summer Shimmer:[/highlight]
Step 1: Apply foundation all over the face and neck, add concealer wherever required especially under the eyes. Use powder to set.
Step 2: Keep your brows bold by combing them up and filling them in.
Step 3: Go over the eyelid with a shimmery gold or silver shadow and end it in a cat eye shape going outwards.
Step 4: Draw on a flicked liner that is thicker at the ends and apply lots of mascara to the lashes.
Step 5: Add contouring under the cheeks and sweep on some blush in a flattering angle according to your face shape.
Step 6: Fill in the lips with a red pencil and go over with a sexy red lipstick!

[highlight highlightColor=”highlight-red” ]Smoky Summer Glam:[/highlight]

Step 1: Apply foundation all over the face and conceal flaws. Hide and brighten under eyes as well. Only powder the T-zone as this look is quite shiny.
Step 2: Fill brows if needed and comb up for a bold appearance.
Step 3: Draw a liner close to the lash line using a gel or liquid liner, on the outer edge end with a cat eye liner that is smudged, use black eyeshadow to smudge effectively.
Step 4: Smudge a black pencil at the bottom lashline for a soft effect.. Go into the water line with black. Apply lots of mascara to both upper and lower lashes and add falsies if needed.
Step 5: Use a matte dirty pink lipstick all over the lips. Apply a shimmery peach blush and highlighter on the cheeks according to your face shape.

[highlight highlightColor=”highlight-teal” ]Bronzed Beach Goddess:[/highlight]

Step 1: Use a foundation all over face and a concealer wherever required. Apply powder to set.
Step 2: The eyebrows should be groomed and natural.
Step 3: Apply a brown eyeshadow to the outer V of the eye and near the top lashline, blend it into the eyelid for a gradiated smoky effect, soften the edges as well.
Step 4: Use a black pencil all over the top and bottom lashlines and waterline. Take the back higher on the top and smudge into the brown eyeshadow, set using the same brown or a darker shadow. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara.
Step 5: Apply bronzer to all the points of your face that get hit by the sun like the tops of cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. Use a golden peach blush to accentuate your cheeks.
Step 6: Use a light nude lipstick all over the lips, put a layer of clear gloss on top for a voluminous and shiny effect.

[highlight highlightColor=”highlight-red” ]Elegant Summer Night Look:[/highlight]

Step 1: Apply foundation to the face and neck, apply concealer to hide blemishes and under eyes. Powder well to achieve a matte effect.
Step 2: Fill in eyebrows lightly and get a bold look.
Step 3: Apply a shimmery brown shadow all over the eyelid and into the crease, blend well for a soft look.
Step 4: Using a black eyeliner, draw a thick eyeliner from the inner eye going outwards and ending in a small cat-eye flick. Apply black kohl to the rim of the eyes and apply loads of mascara.
Step 5: Sweep a subtle shimmery pink blush over the cheeks in a flattering angle, up into the hairline and add a little highlighter to the tops of the cheeks.
Step 6: Use a muted rose lipstick on the lips .
